What will you and your guests do?

This experience combines a sunset Salsa class followed by a visit to the Fajardo Bio Bay, creating a perfect evening of dance and natural wonder.

Our aim is to enhance your Puerto Rico experience by teaching Salsa steps infused with the essence and energy of Latin rhythms, connecting soul and body through movement. By the end of the class, you’ll confidently lead and/or follow in Salsa dancing.

After the Sunset Salsa Class, we’ll travel to Fajardo for an exclusive tour of the “Fajardo Bio Bay”  Your guide will introduce you to the bioluminescent phenomenon, an aptivating 2-hour kayaking adventure in the Laguna Grande Nature Reserve. Witness the extraordinary bioluminescence as you paddle through mangrove channels, under star-filled skies, and amidst protected wildlife.

Itinerary:

Check-in & Pre-Tour Training – Arrive at Las Croabas, Fajardo, for a 15-minute check-in and safety instructions.

Entering the Bioluminescent Bay – Launch your kayaks into the red mangrove channel of Las Cabezas de San Juan Nature Reserve.

Fajardo Bio Bay – Reach Laguna Grande, witness the sunset, and observe the stars above.

Bioluminescence – Paddle through glowing waters, with brightness depending on the moon phase.

Stargazing – Learn about the constellations above the Fajardo Bio Bay.

Return to Launch Site – Cruise back through the mangrove channel, guided by eco-lights, and enjoy snacks upon return.

Not Suitable for:

  1. Children under 6 years old
  2. Guests weighing more than 250 lbs
  3. Those afraid of water or dark environments

Participants meet at Dr. Jose’s Celso Barbosa statue. We offer door-to-door group service or a meeting point pickup, subject to availability, from your hotel, Airbnb, or preferred location along our established routes.

Guest Requirements:

  1. Something warm for cooler weather
  2. Please wear something breathable, super casual, a fanny pack, and avoid flip-flops or heels. It is very likely that you will get wet during the bay experience, so please bring dry clothes so that you can change.
  3. Fully charged phone/camera with memory

Note:

  1. Suitable for ages 6+
  2. Maximum of 6 travelers per tour
  3. Motion sickness tablets are recommended for sensitive individuals

Note:

The second part of this experience is weather-dependent. In case of inclement weather, rescheduling or refunds are available.

Cancellation Policy:

  2. Full refund if canceled up to 3 days before start time or within 24 hours of booking (made more than 48 hours before start).
  3. 80% refund for cancellations made less than 48 hours before start time.
  4. Single-use classes/packages; non-shareable.
  5. Refunds are issued if the minimum traveler requirement isn’t met.
